Paul Scott, PHD, ING
CEO KorvaLabs, Inc. and one of the world’s leading anti-doping experts. I founded the company in 2015 after more than a decade at the forefront of anti-doping science.
As the former Chief Science Officer and founder of the Agency for Cycling Ethics (ACE), I designed and developed the first biological marker anti-doping program, a ground-breaking testing process to detect blood doping and the use of performance enhancer EPO, which was initiated worldwide.
Often referred to as a “passport” program, it was first adopted in 2006 by Slipstream Sports The Scott Analytics Biological Passport remains the most extensive of its kind, identifying not only blood manipulation, but anabolic steroid use and other hormones, including human growth hormone (hGH).
Previously, I was the Director of Clients at the UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory (OAL) where I oversaw all positive case reporting and publications. In addition, I served as the OAL representative to all World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) conferences related to EPO and Dietary Supplements.
Prior to joining the UCLA laboratory, I was a practicing patent attorney at the New York offices of Sidley and Austin where my practice was primarily in the biochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
A graduate of Cornell College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology, I also received his JD from Rutgers Law School.
I have served, and as part of Scott Analytics, Inc., continue to serve as a consulting expert on anti-doping, as well as other biochemical related, matters.
